These terms govern your use of shilpora.com and any order you place with Shilpora. By using the site or placing an order, you accept them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to order from us.

Products, pricing and availability

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise. The tax breakup appears on your invoice.
  • We try to describe and photograph products accurately. Colours can vary between screens, and wood grain and finish vary naturally between pieces.
  • Specifications, prices and availability can change without notice.
  • Listing a product is an invitation to order, not a binding offer. The contract forms when we confirm dispatch.

Pricing errors

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we may cancel the order even after payment, and we will refund you in full. We will not force a sale at an error price, and we will tell you clearly what happened.

Orders we may decline

We may refuse or cancel an order where:

  • The item is out of stock
  • We suspect fraud or unauthorised payment
  • The delivery pin code is not serviceable
  • There is a pricing or listing error
  • The order looks like a resale purchase at retail prices in unreasonable volume

If we cancel after payment, we refund in full.

Payment

We accept the methods shown at checkout, which may include UPI, cards, net banking, wallets and Cash on Delivery where available. Payments are processed by third-party gateways under their own terms.

Shipping, returns and warranty

These are covered in our shipping policy, refund policy and warranty policy, which form part of these terms.

Safe and lawful use of electrical products

This matters more for our catalogue than for most stores, so please read it.

  • Use every product within its stated voltage and current rating. Load ratings are on the product page and the packaging.
  • Do not connect extension boards to each other, and do not modify, open or repair any product yourself.
  • Fixed wiring work, including installing wires, switches, sockets and MCBs, must be carried out by a licensed electrician in line with local regulations.
  • Class 0 dielectric gloves are personal protective equipment for qualified personnel. Inspect and test them before every use and follow the retest interval.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended, within reach of children or pets, or near anything flammable.

We are not liable for damage, injury or loss caused by misuse, overloading, unauthorised modification, or installation by an unqualified person. Our electrical safety guide covers the practical detail.

Intellectual property

The Shilpora name, logo, product photography, product copy and site design are our property. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Reviews and submissions

If you post a review or send us content, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use it for marketing. Do not submit anything unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing. We may remove content at our discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or data. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, courier disruption, power or network failure, or government action.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published at the time you place an order is the one that applies to it.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to your right to approach a consumer forum in your own jurisdiction.

Grievance redressal

Write to ipyhubhelp@gmail.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020.
