Warranty Policy

Warranty periods vary by product and are printed on each product page under the specifications. This page explains what the warranty covers and how to claim it.

Typical warranty periods

  • Heavy-duty 16A extension boards and industrial boards: 24 months
  • Standard wooden and PVC extension boards: 12 months
  • Switches, sockets, MCBs: 12 months
  • LED bulbs and battens: 24 months replacement
  • Plug tops, adaptors, LED candles: 6 months
  • Gloves, candles, tapes and consumables: no warranty, covered only by the return policy for defects on arrival

The period on the product page is authoritative if it differs from this list.

What is covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
  • Socket contacts that fail to hold a plug under normal use
  • Switches that stop making contact within the warranty period
  • Internal wiring or solder joint failure
  • Indicator or USB module failure under rated load

What is not covered

  • Damage from exceeding the rated load, including daisy-chaining boards
  • Damage from voltage surges, lightning, or incorrect supply voltage on products without surge protection
  • Physical damage, cut or crushed cords, water ingress, burn marks from external sources
  • Any product that has been opened, modified, or repaired by anyone other than us
  • Normal wear: scuffed finishes, faded printing, loosened wooden polish
  • Consumables and wear parts, including fuses and batteries
  • Dielectric gloves past their 6 month retest interval

How to claim

  1. Email ipyhubhelp@gmail.com with your order number, the product, and a description of the fault.
  2. Attach a photo or a short video showing the problem. For electrical faults, this usually tells us straight away whether it is a defect or an overload.
  3. We respond within two business days with either a resolution or a request to return the item for inspection.
  4. If we ask for the item back, we arrange and pay for the pickup.
  5. Valid claims are resolved by repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion. We aim to close claims within 10 business days of receiving the item.

Safety note

Stop using any electrical product that shows scorching, a burning smell, a cracked housing, exposed conductor, or a socket that has gone loose or discoloured. Unplug it at the wall and contact us. Do not attempt to open or repair it.
